What is a slingbow?

A Slingbow, sometimes referred to as an arrow slingshot. It is a modified slingshot that is designed to fire standard arrows better suited to hunting larger game than a standard slingshot can easily do greatly expanding its capabilities. Slingbow can also be modified for fishing as well for slingshot fishing or slingbow fishing (each requires a different setup)  as sling bow shooting can be much be more accurate than throwing a fishing spear with a little practice.

The pocket slingshot slingbow is extremely convenient because you don’t need to know how to shoot a bow and arrow to utilize it. A survival slingbow is basically a specialized arrow slingshot, Its just like shooting a regular slingshot, only its designed to fire arrows as well. So you save pounds of weight compared to a traditional bow for light game hunting.

 Slingshot fishing is an awesome way to get bait fish, or to hunt for dinner. For bait you just take several pebbles within your pouch and shoot them into small schools of minnows it shocks them, and you can easily scoop them up, alternatively, if your skilled enough you can cast your baited hooks out using your slingshot. Below you can see an example of storing spare fishing line on your slingshot.  For slingbow fishing you can use one of our fishing arrow tips like that on the mini surf and turf card to create barbed fishing arrows to shoot directly at fish near the top of the water or in shallow water.  This tool can fire standard 28” arrows, as well as longer handmade arrows.

Arrow Sling Shot Conversion

Each Pocket Sling shot comes with a very simple slingbow conversion and can be converted into a pocket sling bow and comes with a small section of 1100 paracord, that is in a U shape, if you loosen the slingshot bands hold and pull it strait across the limbs of the slingshot, it will provide a soft arrow rest, that will not damage your arrows, and also can allow you to easily remove your slingshot bands, and store it flat, or replace the bands easily without any fuss.
