Hardtack Recipe

This Weatherproof plastic tip card is a hardtack recipe and instruction card. Hardtack is a biscuit that has been made for generations and was used as rations in the American Civil War because of their incredibly long-lasting nature. If stored properly, Hardtack can be kept for years as an inexpensive lightweight ration and has been known to last longer than a decade (But we don't recommend it). You can also add things like honey, fruit, nuts, and other goodies to hard tack, but these things all affect how long it will last, so keep that in mind when you make it. 

Hardtack was originally a sea biscuit kept for its long shelf life and easily carried anywhere. Stored hardtack can be softened easily and used to create several different types of meals making it an amazing survival food. 

Hardtack ship biscuits are easily made in bulk rolling by rolling the dough onto baking sheets then slipping them into the oven and bake them for long periods to remove any moisture.

Completely waterproof so you don't have to worry about being outdoors or keeping them out of the rain.

UV Resistant

Sun exposure is not a problem with this tip card.
