• Flat spark Ferro Rod - Ferro rod fire starter is a favorite fire-starting device among many bushcraft and survival enthusiasts. Ferrocerium is a man-made metallic material that produces sparks in excess of 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit when it's scraped with a rough surface or a sharp edge.

• Flat spark Magnesium Bar - magnesium is a fantastic fire-starting material, It burns at a temp of about 5,000 F (crazy hot). If your fire kindling happens to be wet, this gives you a much better chance at starting your fire.

How to Use a Magnesium Fire Starter

Magnesium burns white hot at an incredible 4000 degrees F. The secret to making a magnesium fire is in shaving off thin pieces from your soft magnesium bar into a dime sized pile.
