Product Features
Best Practices for Using an Animal Track Chart
- Examine Track Shape and Size: Take note of the overall shape, size, and depth of the print. Compare these features to the animal track chart for an accurate identification.
- Check for Claw Marks: Some animals, like canines, leave visible claw marks, while others, like felines, retract their claws. Use this clue to narrow down the species
- Look at the Surrounding Terrain: Tracks found near water sources or specific types of terrain can indicate which animals frequent the area. Use environmental clues in combination with the tracks for more reliable identification
- Measure the Track Length: Use the provided scale on the animal track chart to measure the length of the print. Track size often correlates with the size of the animal.
- Observe Track Patterns: Track patterns, such as how an animal walks or runs, can provide further insights. Animals often leave unique track arrangements that help you identify them more easily.

VerifiedHi! I was so excited to see you had all of the animals on your cards that we see in our wet meadow, especially the great blue heron and beaver. Our office grade printer gives us very clear and precise printing and copies. The cards however do not have clear wording and numbers. It would be best to be able to enlarge them as well. thanks
