Micro Lock Picking Kit : Micro Size EDC Lock Pick set
A Micro Lock Pick Set Built for Practice
Full size lock pick sets are easier to learn with at a bench. This kit gives you a much smaller set to practice and carry once you understand the basics.
Inside are three Grim Micro Tools: the Grim Key Micro Tool, Lock Pick Rake Micro Tool, and Probe Lock Pick Micro Tool. They come with a small storage tin, Micro Tool sheath, and small bundle clip.
The three lock picking tools are cut from 0.025 inch stainless steel. The protected tool section below identifies the pick profiles in the kit and links to training.
The three Grim made tools are Made in the USA and covered by Grim Workshop's lifetime guarantee against defects. The storage tin, sheath, and clip are separate accessories.
Use lock picks only on locks you own or have permission to work on. Laws on possession and use vary by location, so check local rules before carrying them.
Why Carry a Lock Pick Set This Small?
Most lock pick sets are built for a workbench. They are useful, but they are not especially small.
The Micro Lock Picking Kit keeps a few useful profiles in Grim Workshop's Micro Tool format, with a tin, sheath, and clip to keep the pieces organized.
It makes sense as a compact practice set or a small backup to a larger training kit. Small tools reward good technique, so practice on authorized locks before depending on them for any real task.

All The Tools in This Kit
Keep the Three Tools Together
The steel storage tin gives the three Micro Tools a home when you want the whole set together.
The sheath keeps the Micro Tools bundled, and the small clip gives you another way to keep the set together or attach it to compatible carry gear.
That matters with tools this small. A compact kit is only useful if the pieces are easy to find when it is time to practice.
Practice First, Then Carry
Start with a training lock or another lock you own and can legally practice on.
Use the tool list on this page to identify the included pick profiles, then work through Grim Workshop's lock picking guides to learn basic rake and hook techniques.
Compact picks take more control than a large handled set. Go slowly, learn what the lock is telling you, and build speed only after the motion feels natural.
What This Micro Kit Is Best For
This kit is at its best when you want a few lock picking tools without a full size roll or case.
- Practice sessions on locks you own
- A compact EDC pouch where local law allows
- A backup set inside a larger training kit
- Keeping common rake and hook profiles organized
- Skill practice when bench size tools are not practical
For long practice sessions or a brand new learner, a larger handled set is easier on the hands. The Micro Kit trades that comfort for a much smaller carry footprint.
