A: Yes, the hooks can be removed from the tool, then put back into it when your done to be used again thanks to our tool retention system on each of our tools. 

Q: Are the hooks sharp? 
A: Yes, they are very sharp. Sometimes they can even fray fishing line, in which case we recommend using braided line, with the hooks, but even easier is to just use a clip for the hook to attach to. You can also ream the hook eye out by inserting something small and pointed into the hook eye then rotating it to knock off any remaining burrs.
