What if you could play a game of cards and learn something new about survival skills at the same time? What if a survival skills book also doubled as a deck of cards? Like most of you, I did not think about this concept until I saw our new Grim Skill Cards show up. Now, I cannot wait to play a game of poker, go fish, or war and flip a new card over to discover something new!

Here are a few things to know about our Survival Skill Cards...

• The project is now live on Kickstarter!
• This is our 11th Kickstarter (and it has already been fully funded...hooray!).
• There are 9 Decks of Cards, featuring 450 water-resistant cards in total.
• Our unique multipurpose playing card design combines our love for playing games and learning.
• Choose from 9 topics of survival (fire, fishing, hunting & trapping, and more) or collect them all.
• Made In The USA: Each deck of survival skill cards is proudly made here in the USA!

What will you learn?

 

The short answer: A lot. The long answer...

• Fire Deck:
  Learn valuable firestarting skills that will allow you to stay warm, cook food, boil water, and more.
• Fishing Deck:
  Learn how to secure food from any nearby water way with the fishing skills on our cards.
• Cordage and Knots Deck:
  Learn critical knots that will help with your shelters, fishing, and lashing various types of items.
• First Aid and Preparedness Deck:
  Learn about common medicines, antibiotics, things you can find in the field and a lot more.
• Shelter Deck: 
  Learn how to make all sorts of shelters and camp accoutrements. Not only will this deck be valuable for survival, it will be a lot of fun!
• Hunting and Trapping Deck:
  Learn, not only how to hunt more effectively, but make various animal calls, track and camouflage yourself. This deck will help you put protein over the fire.
• Outdoor Cooking Deck:
  Speaking of cooking protein over a fire, our outdoor cooking deck is packed with valuable information such as cooking methods, how to clean animals, and make clean drinking water.
• Urban Survival Deck:
  Live in an urban jungle? We've got a deck of cards for you too. The Urban Survival Deck is packed with information about escape and evasion, improvising batteries, and a lot of other valuable skills.
• Navigation & Weather Deck:
  Fancy not getting lost? Yeah, me too. The navigation deck offers navigation tips, how to improvise a compass if yours is broken or not with you, how to find north (day or night), and so much more.
