Dog Tag Bottle Opener Necklace and Can Opener
A bottle opener necklace is handy when you actually need to open a drink. This Grim Workshop dog tag does one more job: it has a manual can opener on the reverse side. Carry both tools around your neck, clip them to your keys, or keep them with your camp cooking gear.
The solid opener tool is made from 0.030-inch stainless steel in a familiar dog tag shape. It comes with a 24-inch ball-chain necklace, a short ball-chain keychain connector, and a silencer to help keep a small tool stack together.
Use the bottle opener for metal crown caps, or use the can opener carefully when you need to open a food can. Its small size is built for easy carry, while a full-size kitchen can opener is still the more comfortable choice for repeated use.

Two Openers in One Small Dog Tag
A bottle opener is useful at a cookout. A can opener can be even more useful when dinner comes from a food can and your regular kitchen tools are somewhere else.
This Dog Tag Bottle Opener Necklace keeps both jobs on one flat stainless steel tag. The bottle opener works with metal crown caps, and the reverse side is made for opening food cans.
Wear it with the included chain, carry it on your keys, or keep it in your camping mess kit. It is a simple backup that takes little room while leaving both hands free until you need it.

• Tool manufactured in the USA, backed by Grim Workshop's lifetime guarantee against defects.

Every Tool on This Dog Tag and How to Use It
The Bottle and Can Opener Dog Tag is more than a small fire tool. It is part of Grim Workshop’s larger Tools and Skills system. We build compact tools that fit into real kits, then back them up with practical skill guides so you are not left guessing when it is time to use them.
How to Open Bottles and Cans
To open a capped bottle:
• Find the bottle-opener edge of the tag. Hook it under the lip of a metal crown cap, then lift with steady pressure until the cap releases.
To open a food can:
• Place the can on a stable surface. Use the can-opener end at the lid edge with careful, controlled pressure, then work around the rim a little at a time. Keep your fingers away from sharp metal.
• The dog tag has a small grip. Take your time, and use a full-size can opener when you have one available for repeated meal prep.
• Clean and dry the tool after using it with food. Use the demonstration video on this page and the guides below to practice before a trip.

Wear It, Clip It, or Build a Mess Kit
The included necklace makes it easy to wear this bottle opener and can opener together. A short keychain connector gives you another carry option, while the silencer keeps small Dog Tag Tools from rattling.
You can stack compatible Grim Dog Tag Tools in a silencer for a small, wearable kit. For camp cooking, this opener pairs well with other cooking and meal-prep tools, or with a small tin and the gear you already carry.
The 0.030-inch stainless steel body is made in the USA. Rinse and dry it after using the can opener, especially around food or saltwater. As with Grim's other tools, the lifetime guarantee covers defects, not normal wear or misuse.
You might prefer a smaller keychain format for a different carry style. Grim also makes separate Bottle Opener and Can Opener Micro Tools.

VerifiedThis is so easy to keep with me and I have used it a number of times already, for myself and others (who are amazed at the size and strength of this Dog Tag). Thanks again, Grimworkshop...

I was really curious about this particular piece of gear so I bought it and after testing it out I can safely say while it's a really good idea on paper in practice it just doesn't really work effectively. With how small it is it's difficult to get a solid grip and all I really managed to do was puncture the lid of the can I was trying to open. And with how thin this tool is it started cutting into my hand badly enough to cause pain. Simply put, I just can't see it as effective or worth the effort to try and use.
