    Build Your Everyday Carry

    Everyday carry by Grim Workshop

Useful Tools Where You Already Carry Them

Good everyday carry is not about stuffing every pocket. It is about keeping useful capability in the places you already use: your wallet, necklace, key ring, zipper pull, or pocket organizer.

    Carry less, solve more

    EDC Should Earn Its Space

You do not need a pocket full of gadgets. Start with the small problems you actually run into, then choose the smallest useful tool that fits the way you already carry.

    • Pick tools around real jobs such as cutting, repair, eating, fire, small maintenance, or skill practice.
    • Choose the carry point first: wallet, necklace, keys, zipper, or pocket organizer.
    • Avoid duplicate tools unless the backup solves a real carry problem.
    • Practice with specialty tools before the day you actually need the skill.

    Start with how you carry

    Wallet, Necklace, or Keychain

Grim builds compact tools in several formats because the best EDC setup is the one that fits your normal routine.

    Micro Tools

Micro Tools are very small task specific tools, commonly around the size of a large paperclip. Depending on the exact tool, they can ride on keys, zipper pulls, pouches, or other compatible carry points.

    Common EDC questions

    Before You Fill Your Pockets

    What does EDC mean?

EDC means everyday carry. It is the small gear you choose to keep close because it solves useful problems, supports a hobby or skill, or gives you practical backup capability.

Do I need to carry every Grim tool every day?

No. Everyday carry is about access, not collecting weight in your pockets. Carry what fits your routine and move specialty tools into a wallet, keychain, necklace, pouch, vehicle, or small kit when that makes more sense.

Which Grim tool size should I start with?

If you already carry a wallet, start with card sized tools. If you prefer wearable carry, look at Dog Tag Tools. If you want something on keys or a zipper, start with Micro Tools.

Are all Micro Tools made from the same material?

No. Material and construction vary by exact tool. Check the individual product before assuming one Micro Tool has the same material, thickness, or hardware as another.

Can Dog Tag Tools be stacked together?

Yes. A Grim dog tag silencer can hold up to three compatible Dog Tag Tools stacked together, which makes it possible to build a small wearable set.

    What is a Stash Card?

A Stash Card is a compact wallet pouch designed to organize compatible Grim Micro Tools, Dog Tag Tools, PAK Tools, and small loadouts. Exact fit depends on the tools you choose.

What about lock picks and other specialty tools?

Use lock picks, escape tools, blades, and other specialty gear responsibly and only where lawful and appropriate. Check local laws before carrying or traveling with regulated or restricted tools.

    Start small

Start With the Carry Point You Never Leave Home Without

Wallet, necklace, keys, or pocket. Pick one place, give it one useful job, and build from there. That is a much better EDC plan than buying twelve things and hoping your pockets sort it out.

Some Grim products contain sharp, lock, escape, hunting, or other specialty tools. Carry and use them responsibly, only where lawful and appropriate, and check local laws before travel or use.
