EDC Slingshot

As we begin talking about an EDC Slingshot, we need to define what an "EDC-able" item actually is first.

  • "EDC" is an acronym for "Every Day Carry".
  • For something to be Every Day Carry-able, it must be compact, lightweight and still perform at its intended purpose. In other words, if it's too bulky or cumbersome to carry, it will get left at home.

And with that said, let's dive into our EDC Slingshot...

GRIM EDC Slingshot

I am a big fan of slingshots and I have carried them in my backpack for years for various purposes. They are a very versatile tool for pest control, hunting, and for fun plinking sessions. However, until I started working with our Grim Slingshot Card, my slingshot was never an item that fit into my pocket or in a compact hip pouch.

The Grim Pocket Slingshot is the smallest slingshot option that I've found that is repeatably accurate. Here are some specs on this EDC Slingshot...

  • Credit Card Sized
  • Constructed of Stainless Steel
  • Works as a slingshot and slingbow
  • Made in the USA
  • Fits into an Altoids Tin, pocket, or small pouch
  • Ultralight at under 1oz.
  • In short...Dennis the Menace would've loved sneaking this in on his mischievous adventures ;)

Considering getting an EDC Slingshot?

The Pocket Slingshot Kit that I have shown above is a fantastic place to start. This kit will give you everything you need to begin your EDC Slingshot Journey with the following components: The Pocket Slingshot, steel slingshot ammo, a "surf & turf" card that allows you to make your own arrows, and the paracord + slingshots bands necessary for firing your ammo.

The Pocket Slingshot does have a slight learning curve to it. So, as I recommend with any of the gear that you decide to place in your outdoor or EDC kits, get out and practice with it BEFORE you need it. Learn how you shoot with the EDC Slingshot, find out what your limitations might be with it...And most of all, have some fun with it!

If your bands start to wear out from heavy use, replacement bands are always available on our site. And, if you run out of ammo we've got spare ammo too! In fact, go ahead and slip some extras into your order if you decide to pick one of our EDC Slingshots up...You'll thank yourself when you're on the range or in the woods.
